The Globalization of the World

We want to take a quick brief look at how the world began its global efforts and then we want to take a look at Scripture to see how this all turns out. Since God scattered the nations at the time of the tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9), man has tried to put back what God has separated. It was a slow go because God not only separated the nations by confusing the languages, but after the flood in Genesis 7 God had already broken up the landmasses which made it even more difficult. Man’s quest for power and to conquer his fellow man and take control of his land was the way to go for centuries. Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome were the four big kingdoms mentioned in the book of Daniel. These kingdoms covered vast amounts of land and the people became slaves of their conquerors and the world grew bigger and bigger. With the New World at hand discovered by people like Christopher Columbus and Amerigo Vespucci and so many others, life and knowledge continued to expand. Once again man had land to conquer. This New World, the Americas as it was called, offered things that the Old World did not have, and that was a new start. The freedom won by the people of the 13 colonies which became the United States of America was now in conflict with the old. This vast known world was now for the taking. Wars seemed to never stop. In the 1800s there were international organizations which had begun for the purpose of global intervention, like the International Committee of the Red Cross in 1864, the Hague Conventions of 1899 and 1907 and the League of Nations which began in 1920 as a result of the Paris Peace conference which ended WWI. But the League of Nations failed by the 1930s and with that WWII had a deadly impact on the world, maybe like no other time in the history of man. What came out of this war was the United Nations, whose sole purpose was to create and maintain international order. The UN is broken into several areas: the General Assembly, which is for deliberation; the Security Council, which is for peace and security; Economic and Social Council, for promoting international economic and social co-operation and development; Secretaries, for studies and information facilities; the International World Court, UN Systems which include the World Bank, World Health, World Food, UNESCO, UNICEF. In 1948 the UN began a peace-keeping mission by having troops of all nations dedicated for the purpose of peace. In 1949 NATO began based on the North American Treaty, for the sole purpose not of peace, like the League of Nations which failed, but for a mutual defence response to an attack on those countries which belong to NATO. Today NATO forces are part of the UN’s international global army. Today, every area of our lives is intertwined globally. Today, the New World is a global world, united for the sole purpose of not peace, but power; not freedom, but slavery.

Let’s now look at the Scriptures to see how this all turns out.

Yeshua/Jesus Himself speaks about what we call the end times in Matthew 24. The end times is the time when man will complete the task of uniting the nations and the culminating of this present day called today. The book of Revelation speaks to us about the time when man completes this task. Now, I want to say that God never called man to complete this task. The scattering of the nations was done by God, and the uniting of the nations or the gathering of the nations will be done when Messiah comes back. So if it is not of God then it can only be the work of the evil one, who from the beginning put the thought in man to achieve this task. Chapter 12 of Revelation tells us that the devil, the dragon, will come down to the earth and wage war against God’s people, those who keep the commandments of God and the testimony of Yeshua/Jesus. Revelation 13 speaks about a beast, the antichrist, rising out of the sea full of blasphemous speech, one like a leopard and a bear and a lion. The dragon, the devil, gave him his power, throne and authority, and all worshiped the dragon. The beast, the antichrist, blasphemed God’s name and His dwelling place and he was allowed to wage war on God’s people and to conquer them. He had authority over every tribe and people, language and nation. All who dwelled on the earth worship the beast. Then I saw another beast, the false prophet, rising out the earth. He had all the authority of the first beast. He performed great signs and wonders. And he will deceive many. He will cause all, rich and poor, great and small to receive the mark of the beast so no one will be able to buy or sell without it, and his number is 666. All those who do not get the mark on their forehead will be put to death. During this time there will be all kinds of plagues and pestilences and hunger and war and death, a time like no other time in history. The nations will surround Israel, but Yeshua the Messiah will return to save His people and He will rule and reign on the earth for one thousand years. Today, all we are waiting for is the beast, the ruler of the One world Order and the beast, the one who will point man to him. The system is in place. The world is coming together, the churches are coming together and people have been deceived to believe that globalization will give them peace and prosperity, but instead it will give them sorrow and death. If you have been deceived to believe that the globalization of the world is of God, then I say to you, read your Bible. Search out your Scriptures, and let God show you the truth. For those who take the mark of the beast will have no share in the kingdom of God (Revelation 13:8).

Let Him who has an ear let him hear.
