Is History Repeating Itself ? Part 5
In this series we have looked at different prophecies related to the end times. In this episode we are going to look at the Dragon.
Revelations 13:1-4 tells us,
“The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name. The beast I saw resembled a leopard, but had feet like those of a bear and a mouth like that of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power and his throne and great authority. One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast. People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked, “Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”
We see here that the Dragon was standing on the shore of the sea when a Beast comes out of it, and the Dragon gives authority to the Beast. The Dragon has always been considered to be the devil and for sure is, but we have another thought. We believe in this Scripture that the Dragon is China and the Dragon China is going to give the beast not only authority but power. A dragon is not fast on its feet, it does not eat things up with its teeth or tear things apart with its hands, but it does spit out fire from its mouth and that is what it uses to devour things. In Scripture we read a lot about the Dragon. Let’s take a closer look. In Ezekiel 29:2-3 we see the King James Version of the Scriptures using the analogy of the Dragon as the king of Egypt as it says, “Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt: speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; “Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, “My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.”’
Isaiah 27:1 says this, “ On that day the Lord will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, with His fierce and great and mighty sword, even Leviathan the twisted serpent; and He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.”
I think we will see our answer here in Revelation :3:1-4, “A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; and she was pregnant and she cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven crowns. And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven and hurled them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her Child.”
China is known as the “Communist Red China.” What we see here is that the dragon has seven heads and ten horns. This is what we looked at in Part four. This was the European Union. Communism is going to be the government of the New World Order. This is the beast that everyone will worship. The Ukraine War has woken up a sleeping giant. It has caused Germany to rebuild its military, and even before the war, France has been speaking of a European Union Army. Europe can no longer depend on the United States to protect them, and so they are taking matters into their own hands, and this will lead to many wars. So how does China figure into all of this? We have recently seen that China has entered into a treaty with Russia and it will enter into a treaty with the EU and even with countries like Iran. China is becoming the world leader, but it does not necessarily have to fight the wars, but only back the wars financially. Yes, China wants to take over Asia and even Euro-Asia, but it also wants to take over the world. And so you will see this great Dragon, not fighting with its hands, but its fiery flames as it breathes destruction. A dragon has a long powerful tail, and we see in Revelations 3, that the Dragon will use its tail to wipe out a third of the stars and hurl them to earth. This is the Dragon conquering nations.
Revelation 3:2-3 speaks to us about the Lion, Leopard and Bear And the Beast that I saw was like a Leopard, and his feet were like those of a Bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a Lion. And the Dragon gave him his power and his throne, and great authority. Yes, these three will wage war on Israel and they will be backed by China and as we saw, they will be defeated. This for sure will make the Dragon angry, so angry that as we will see, he will wage war even against the army of Yeshua. One thing about China is that today they have 2 million soldiers fulfilling this prophecy in Revelation 9:13-19, “Then the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” And the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released, so that they would kill a third of mankind. The number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And this is how I saw in my vision the horses and those who sat on them: the riders had breastplates the color of fire, of hyacinth, and of brimstone; and the heads of the horses are like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire and smoke and brimstone. A third of mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the fire, the smoke, and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents and have heads, and with them they do harm.”
We see here that their mouths are like the mouths of the Dragon and their tails are destructive tails of the dragon. Revelation 16:13-16 says this,“And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs; for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the entire world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty. And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon.”
Revelation 17:11-18 continues. “The beast which was, and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction. The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour. These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast. These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.” And he said to me, “The waters which you saw where the prostitute sits are peoples and multitudes, and nations and languages. And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and will burn her up with fire. For God has put it in their hearts to execute His purpose by having a common purpose, and by giving their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God will be fulfilled. The woman whom you saw is the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.”
Revelation 19:11-19 says, “And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many crowns; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written: “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in midheaven, “Come, assemble for the great feast of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, both free and slaves, and small and great.” And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, assembled to make war against Him who sat on the horse, and against His army.”
Yes, the final Roman Empire will be destroyed, along with the Lion, Bear and Leopard and the great red Dragon which we know was Satan himself who works behind the scenes of all evil and darkness. But as we see here, he too, will come to his demise.
Revelation 20:1-3, 7-10 continues with this “Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he took hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he threw him into the abyss and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.”
“When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison, and will come out to deceive the nations which are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore. And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them. And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”
Yes, history repeats itself and so does prophecy but one day 1 Corinthians 13:8-10,12 tells us this “Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away with; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away with. For we know in part and prophesy in part; but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away with.”
“ For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully, just as I also have been fully known.”
