“Blow the trumpet in Zion;

sound the alarm on my holy mountain.”(Joel 2:1)

It’s time for all people to awaken from their slumber.

This is a time to see clearly the signs of the times.

As we lose more and more of our Constitutional rights, you have to ask yourself, “How long before we will not have the right to congregate as a community of faith?” We have seen  in most countries that Chrisitans, due to persecution, have to gather in secret. From the First Century to the time of Constantine, who allowed freedom of worship only because his mother Helen was a Chrisitian, believers were persecuted and martyred. But also during this time the number of believers grew. Yeshua tells His disciples this in Matthew 10:16-23,  “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be as wary as serpents, and as innocent as doves.  But be on guard against people, for they will hand you over to the courts and flog you in their synagogues;  and you will even be brought before governors and kings on My account, as a testimony to them and to the Gentile, pagans.  But when they hand you over, do not worry about how or what you are to say; for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour.  For it is not you who are speaking, but it is the Spirit of your Father who is speaking in you. Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.  And you will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved. But whenever they persecute you in one city, flee to the next; for truly I say to you, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man comes.”

We see here that Yeshua warns them of coming persecution, but does not tell them to remain silent. Matthew 10: 24-31 continues to say, “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a slave above his master.  It is enough for the disciple that he may become like his teacher, and the slave like his master. If they have called the head of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they insult the members of his household!  So do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.  What I tell you in the darkness, tell in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim on the housetops. And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.  Are two sparrows not sold for a copper coin? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.  But even the hairs of your head are all counted.  So do not fear; you are more valuable than a great number of sparrows.”

So what is it that we are to shout from the rooftops?

Isaiah 40:6-8 tells us,  “A voice says, “Call out.” Then he answered, “What shall I call out?” All flesh is grass, and all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades, when the breath of the Lord blows upon it; the people are indeed grass! The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God stands forever.”

Today people are falling away from their faith in God. They no longer believe in the Word of God, nor do they believe in the One He has sent to save us.

Matthew 10: 32-39 continues to say,  “Therefore, everyone who confesses Me before people, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven.  But whoever denies Me before people, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven. Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.  For I came to turn a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;  and a person’s enemies will be the members of his household.  The one who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and the one who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.  And the one who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.  The one who has found his life will lose it, and the one who has lost his life on My account will find it.”

Yeshua demands allegiance, and He also expects us to remain faithful no matter if our own family will not follow Him and in so doing they reject us. Each person is tested in his faith, and because of the freedom God gives us to decide whether or not we will be faithful to Him is what brings the division in life. But despite the fact that you may be the only one in your family or your circle of friends, you still must speakout. Life is short and we do not know when death will come to any one person.

2 Peter 3:9 tells us the love God has for people. “The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.”

But God will not always strive with man, for there is a point when man will die and his time to repent will come to an end.

Yeshua tells us in John 9: 4, “While it is still day, we must do the works of the one who sent me. Night is coming. Then no one can work.”

Now is the time to shout from the rooftops. Now is the time to speakout. Now is the time for all good men to come, and do the work of the Lord, to partially quote Patrick Henry. He, too, was rallying the troops, and we, too, must rally together those who will go out and contend for the faith. We must do it while it is still day, while we can still freely gather and speak. Tomorrow may be too late.  Yeshua said in Matthew 12: 30, That we are either with Him or against Him. Only the one with Him will gather with Him, the others will scatter. True signs of those who really hear His voice, is that  they will gather to Him, while those who do not will scatter.    Yeshua tells His disciples this in John 9:34-37,

“Yeshua said to them, My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to accomplish His work.  Do you not say, ‘There are still four months, and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I tell you, raise your eyes and observe the fields, that they are white for harvest.  Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for eternal life, so that the one who sows and the one who reaps may rejoice together.  For in this case the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’  I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have come into their labor.”

Yeshua is coming back. He told us to look and see the signs of the time. We have     gone global, and that is what the Book of Revelation speaks of.  Israel is a nation once again. Darkness is overtaking the light. Never before has there been a time that fits the narrative. We must give a warning call to all who are listening. God has made us watchmen. Yes, we are keepers of our brothers and sisters.

Ezekiel 33:7-11, speaks of the job of the watchmen though this speaks of Israel, this is for everyone who works God’s fields.

“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.  When I say to the wicked, ‘You wicked person, you will surely die,’ and you do not speak out to dissuade them from their ways, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.  But if you do warn the wicked person to turn from their ways and they do not do so, they will die for their sin, though you yourself will be saved.  Son of man, say to the Israelites, ‘This is what you are saying: “Our offenses and sins weigh us down, and we are wasting away because of them. How then, can we live?”  Say to them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, people of Israel?”

Isaiah 40: 3-5 says, “The voice of one calling out, “Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness; make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Let every valley be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; and let the uneven ground become a plain, and the rugged terrain a broad valley; then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all flesh will see it together; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

We see in John 1:23  that John the Baptist quotes Isaiah when he says this, “I am the voice of one calling out in the wilderness, ‘Make the way of the Lord straight.’’’

John the Baptist, Yeshua and His disciples all shouted out the same thing.

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

This was their message and it should be ours.

Today is the day to gather your church members, your believing family, your believing friends and co-workers, and go out and shout from the rooftops,  “Yeshua is coming back to receive His own, and will they be among those who welcome Him.” Today is the day to go door to door speaking the good news of salvation. Today is the day to begin harvesting your neighborhood, your village, your town, or the place you gather with family and friends. Are you with the Lord, or will you scatter?  Are you hearing His voice or have you become complacent? Are you ready to forsake this world or are you going to continue to be part of it? Are you ready to lose your life for the kingdom or are you going to try to save it by living your life your way?

This is the time to awaken and rise up and advance the Kingdom of God. This is the time to warn the people about the darkness that is falling upon us. This is the time for people to gather and not scatter.
